INSIDE THE TYEE

Have you subscribed to The Run?

We’re now 60 days away from Election Day.

You’ve probably noticed it already. The noise. The tension. The stress! (Evidenced by too many tabs open on our computers.)

To make matters worse, everyone is talking all at once, and the way the Internet works, it’s all loud. And it’s getting louder and louder.

We know this will be a wild election season. That’s why we’re introducing The Run, our free election newsletter.

The Run will focus on the most important topics in the Canadian federal election — the ones we don’t talk nearly enough about — and their implications for the future. It will ignore the noise, the tweets, the drama and the horse race, and think about how politics actually affects the real world around us.

It launches on Friday, Aug. 30. You can learn more here, and sign up here. — Olamide Olaniyan, editor of The Run
