Howdy y'all, Both LSU football and LSU baseball had a special visitor yesterday: the one and only Honey Badger. Tyrann Mathieu paid a visit to a Brian Kelly-led spring football practice and then stopped by Alex Box Stadium to throw the first pitch. LSU baseball will take on Auburn in a home series starting tomorrow. With Alex Milazzo out at catcher, the Tigers have put both Samford transfer Tyler McManus and Hayden Travinski behind the plate. Travinski's recent success at Florida earned him the start on Tuesday night. While basketball season is over, the news isn't. LSU picked up another transfer from Murray State on Tuesday. And, as we all know, football never truly has an offseason, but we're currently in the midst of spring football. Quarterback Myles Brennan shared some insight on his experience competing with a crowded room of quarterbacks and why he decided to stay at LSU. On the women's sports front, LSU softball head coach Beth Torina believes her team is on the cusp of something special. An LSU hurdler earned weekly national honors after her performance at the Texas Relays. Two LSU graduates will also compete in the Augusta Women's National Amateur this week. That's all the news for now! FINALLY: HERE’S A GREAT DEAL Baseball, basketball, gymnastics, track, softball, beach volleyball, football … folks, springtime is a busy time at LSU.
