View in browser February 18, 2021 President Joe Biden is giving his first big international address on Friday when he virtually attends the Munich Security Conference. When he was campaigning, Biden promised that he'd put American leadership front and center in the world again. Now that he's president, Biden's administration is dusting off the ol' standards of U.S. foreign policy, hoping to go back to the way things were globally before Trump, Hayes Brown writes.
"But four years of the United States going rogue have made the last four weeks an awkward affair," Brown writes. "America may be back to business as usual — but, aside from the absence of whiplash, is anyone really happy about that?"
