AVIATION WEEK NETWORK WINS NEAL AWARDS
The Aviation Week Network won a Jesse H. Neal Award on April 17 for Best News Coverage. The Neal judges recognized Safety Editor Sean Broderick and his colleagues on the editorial team for their coverage of the Boeing 737 MAX saga in Aviation Daily and Aviation Week & Space Technology and on the Check 6 podcast. The Neal Awards are the business-to-business equivalent of the Pulitzer Prizes.

A group of U.S. Senate Democrats called on airlines to release an estimated $10 billion in full cash refunds for flights canceled by passengers owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
