Why WePay Sees Instant Payments As Inevitable

The world has taken a hard turn for faster payments, WePay’s Co-founder Rich Aberman tells Karen Webster — a trend, he says, that will mean major changes in what businesses expect, in terms of making their funds from card payments as readily available as funds from cash payments. The goal, he added, should be to go faster. It’s a big challenge (with its share of roadblocks), but one that financial services players will inevitably have to take on in the near future.
