| The Secretary of State for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), with the consent of Scottish and Welsh Ministers, has made decisions on two applications for authorisation for the time-limited use of two substances of very high concern (SVHC) under UK REACH. The Defra Secretary of State has granted authorisation to: MeiraGTx UK II Limited for the use of 4-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)phenol, ethoxylated (4-tert-OPnEO) as a manufacturing aid in the production of gene therapies Rolls Royce plc for the use of Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) in the processing of a stop-off formulation containing DEHP during diffusion bonding and manufacture of aero-engine fan blades Applications for authorisation received by HSE, and the opinions on these, are included in the HSE database of applications granted and in progress. Decisions made by the Defra Secretary of State are published on GOV.UK. |
