Good morning! Today's winter storm will likely bring several inches of snow or a wintry mix of rain, snow and ice in most of Minnesota. Donald Trump is now the only U.S. president who's been impeached twice. But removing him from office before Jan. 20 seems pretty unlikely. Although the House voted to impeach him for a second time in a somewhat bipartisan vote, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell indicated that he won't bring the Senate back for a trial before Biden's Inauguration Day. The milestone of the House's rather symbolic vote was that 10 GOP members of the floor joined Democrats condemning Trump for his role in inciting the violence at the U.S. Capitol. All of Minnesota's eight House representatives, however, voted along the party lines. Is Minnesota's COVID-19 outbreak finally fading? Recent numbers show us some positive signs, but another upswing is still a possibility. While the data over the past few days look hopeful, officials still don’t believe we are in the clear. They believe another surge in cases and deaths is likely in the coming weeks following the year-end holidays.
