Who lost the election? As it turns out, it was our livers

Google trends can reveal information that most people wouldn’t notice otherwise. If you look at what searches are trending, you can get a sneak peek into what a good portion of the country is thinking about. But on the night of Nov. 3, one search term was more popular than anything else: “Liquor store near me.” 

It seems like a huge portion of the country was looking for a way to ease anxiety without going too far from home. Another search term was trending at the same time: “Fries near me.” Maybe this one had more to do with recent propositions passing in Arizona and New Jersey. There might be fries nearby, but how do they stack up against the competition?
