On Tuesday, Governor Herbert and community leaders gathered on the steps of the Utah Capitol to announce the creation and signing of the Utah Compact on Racial Equity and Inclusion.Racial tensions, protests and even riots have permeated 2020, sparked by the death of George Floyd In May. Utah had many protests up and down the state and may Utahns began to take a new look at race and racism in our state.

Yesterday, the members of the Electoral College met to case their votes for the winner of the presidential election in their respective states. Joe Biden, with 306 electoral votes to Donald Trump's 232. 270 votes were needed to win. President-elect Biden received slightly more than Donald Trump did in 2016, when he garnered 304 electoral votes.

Mitch and Shenan Faas and their four children live in Saratoga Springs and each year, produce an elaborate Christmas light show, set to music.
