Launching a Denials Management Program at a Small Rural Hospital Track 4: Innovation & Expansion - 1:45 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. - October, 26 Arinda Kennedy, senior consulting associate at The Center for Case Management in Natick, Massachusetts This presentation will describe how Wayne Healthcare (a small hospital in rural Ohio) used their CDI program to launch a successful denials management program. The presentation will include detailed information on getting the program set up, different types of denials, sample appeal letter templates, tracking denials and appeals, analyzing data, and changing processes upfront for denial prevention.
