VanEck urges greater concern over potential hard landing; Two research houses make senior hires

The investment manager is “surprised” by the lack of investor concern over a potential hard landing for the Australian economy, with a weakening labour market being the “last straw”.

Two investment consulting firms JANA and Genium have expanded their research teams with senior appointments.

The research house has joined this year’s awards as a research partner and will bring its experience to the awards by selecting the group award finalists.

Although the fund manager continued to recover in March, the pace was slower compared to previous months.

The fund manager has seen consistent growth in funds under management for the quarter in what it describes as a “solid start” to 2024.
