Deadline to submit articles (photos encouraged) is 3 p.m. the Friday before publication. Blunck named ‘Employee of Quarter’ Bridget Blunck, office manager and transfer specialist in Enrollment Services, has been named “Employee of the Quarter.” One of her two nomination for the award read, in part, “This fall we have seen an increase in the number of transfers who have applied and who have also enrolled; this I feel reflects the personalized attention that Bridget gives our students. She always maintains that personal, caring touch to everyone she visits with, whether on the phone or in the office, and no matter if they are internal or external customers. It’s always the same, 100 percent attention to their needs.” Congratulations, Bridget, on this honor! Heinle joins foundation staff We have a new addition to the staff in the Foundation Office. Maggie Heinle has joined our team as assistant director of annual giving. Stop by and welcome Maggie to campus! Peterson volunteers for V-500 board A special thank you is in order to Kaleen Peterson for stepping up to the plate to serve as staff representative on the VCSU Foundation’s V-500 Board of Directors. Peterson replaces Kelli Heath, who will be leaving campus for a new career opportunity. Heath will remain on the V-500 board.
