For Sleuthing Night Owls

After Dark invite les oiseaux de nuit dans les bars et les clubs de Verbier, et d’autres lieux mystérieux… Avec les Secret Concerts, prêtez-vous au jeu et saisissez l’opportunité de voir les grandes stars du Festival dans des lieux intimistes tenus secrets jusqu’au matin même du concert.

With After Dark, Verbier buzzes late into the night with performances that appeal to the musically-curious and transcend the boundaries of classical music and musical expectations. After Dark Secret Concerts offer a rare opportunity to hear rising and established stars of the Festival in intimate venues that are kept secret until the morning of each concert. You won’t know who will take the stage until the first note sounds… that is, of course, unless you can solve a series of clues that have been released online.

Spiegeltent

Les Spiegeltents désignaient les structures circulaires en bois, verre et tissu qui voyageaient de villages en fêtes populaires dans la Belgique de la fin du XIXe siècle. À Verbier, une Spiegeltent originale s’installe en face de la Salle des Combins, le temps du Festival. Dédiée à l’Academy et au programme Unlimited, elle accueille les festivaliers dans son ambiance chaleureuse et singulière.

This year, the Verbier Festival introduces a new home for its Academy and Unlimited programmes, located adjacent to Salle des Combins. Spiegeltents, or magic mirrors, were travelling pavilions hand-crafted in Belgium that toured Europe at the start of the 20th century. They were a popular fairground attraction to which thousands flocked to dance on their beautiful oak floors and be entertained while nestled in their elegant seating booths. They were the ultimate cabaret and music salon.
