Our first specialist Books, Coins and Stamps auction is now available to view online. Packed with over 300 lots ranging from £50 to over £6000, there’s something to appeal to a seasoned collector or a first time enthusiast. Highlights in the book section include an early 18th century manuscript titled ‘Record of the British Chapel in Danzig begins 1706’ and Frederick Schoberl’s ‘Picturesque Tour from Geneva to Milan’, both estimated at £500-800. Also within the books is an ever popular Louis Wain volume titled ‘In Cat and Dog Land’, we’re sure this will attract dog and cat lovers alike and is estimated at £300-500. Coins share the spotlight with some particularly fine pieces, the highlight of which is a rare Edward III Gold Noble, Treaty Period 1361-1369 valued between £3000-5000. We’re also delighted to be offering a private single owner collection of fine Roman coins across 19 lots. Stamps take the top lot though with a collection of Great Britain Stamps dating from 1840-1970 within a green Windsor album estimated between £6500-7500- a particular fine collection.
