Soak your fingernails in a solution of 1/2 cup warm water mixed with 2 teaspoons of white vinegar for a couple minutes. Dry thoroughly, then apply your nail polish. This will get rid of all the oils on and around your nails to help your polish stay on a lot longer.

Kids in the Pacific NW get very excited when snow is in the forecast because there is a great likelihood of school cancellations. We usually only see a substantial snowstorm every few years. Because it is so rare, our transportation departments don't have the equipment and resources you see in many parts of the country. It's usually best to have a couple of snow days rather than risk icy roads and unfamiliar drivers.

I use to find emptying coffee pods could be messy, whether in your garbage, on a paper towel or down the sink. All were messy, not eco-friendly, and would even cost you if the paper towel method was used. I now use an empty plastic container. Simple, clean easy. I use a Smart One dinner container.
