Good evening,

Good evening,

The tyrekickers are back at Vocus Group.

Not content with runs at the company in 2019 and 2017, Street Talk understands there’s a financial investor back knocking on Vocus’ door.

While it’ll take a lot to get Vocus to go back into takeover talks considering what happened on both previous occasions, we understand the renewed effort is down to the suitor’s growing awareness of the importance of – and value in owning – telecommunications infrastructure.

It sets the scene for an interesting few months for Vocus shareholders, who were already expecting a Kiwi spin-off by the end of this financial year.

Elsewhere, Zip Co is set to meet a bunch of US investors this week in an effort to increase their awareness of the Australian company and its status as a “TRUE GLOBAL BNPL LEADER” (their words, not ours).

We can reveal Zip’s roadshow comes as the company is toying with the idea of making some of its securities available for trade in the US via ADRs.

Elsewhere, Greenhill has popped up working for Westpac on part of BT.

Happy reading
