Vote NOW and Return your ballot before 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday

IMPORTANT ELECTION REMINDER!

Have you voted and returned your ballot?  Have your friends and family members voted?

Time to vote is running out. If you haven’t voted, please find your ballot, fill it out, sign the back of the return envelope —-and bring your ballot to an official  drop box. Make sure to drop your ballot in an official drop box before 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, TUESDAY, May 20. 

Here’s a quick checklist of our endorsed candidates:  

Medford School Board 
Angela Zbikowski - Position  1
Sandra LaNier McHenry - Position 2
Erik Johnsen - Position 3 

Ashland School Board
Choose one candidate for each of these positions;
Position 1: Ann Gaffney or Jordan Rooklyn
Position 2: Noelle Christensen or Deltra Ferguson 
Position 3: Rebecca Dyson or Grant Jolliffee 

Library Board
Patty Jensen - Position 1

Rogue Valley Transportation District
Katrina Ehrman Newton - Position 5 
Tyler Jasper - Position 4 

Southern Oregon Education District
Richard Owens - Zone 7

Jackson County Rural Fire Protection District 5
Eleanor Ponomareff - Position 4 

The following candidates did not seek endorsement from the Jackson County Democrats, but we are concerned about their opponents’ extreme views and support for the MAGA agenda, so we encourage you to consider supporting them:  

Central Point School District: Position 2 - Zone 1
April Deagle is the better choice for this position. April is a strong advocate for all children and has experience in behavioral health and education.  

Library Board Position 2 
Marta Tarantsey is the better choice for this position. She’s proven her strong leadership skills on the board and will continue to work for access for all and advocate for intellectual freedom. 

Remember to vote all the way down the ballot! 

It is very important to fill in your vote in uncontested races so that an extreme right wing candidate cannot sneak in a win through a write in campaign.
