| Back by popular demand, Dutch design studio Vripack's favoured evening of creativity and inspirational talent - VriThink's Night Out - returns for the second year in a row to the yachting city of Dubai. Organised in close partnership with the Dubai International Boat Show, and taking place on Wednesday 11th March, the PechaKucha-style event will see 10 international speakers take to the centre stage. |

Originating from Vripack's open trend platform, which looks to new ideas and emerging talent for solutions to some of the world's biggest problems to date, VriThink's Night Out brings together leaders in their field. A line-up of 10 speakers each have five minutes in which to deliver 20 slides of their choosing, with 20 seconds attributed to each slide. The format ensures a fast-paced and dynamic delivery. The topics guarantee food for thought.

This year's line-up includes topics that span the industry, from green anti-fouling solutions to the future of shipbuilding software, and artificial intelligence to the futuristic transport proposition that is Hyperloop. Personal accounts also enter the affray this year, with Captain Scott Whittaker set to share some adventures from a recent voyage to Antarctica aboard 29m steel expedition yacht Gayle Force, and Vripack's very own Robin de Vries will be expounding the virtues of designing with virtual reality.
Water innovation entrepreneur Dr. Rutger de Graaf-van Dinther, who will presenting on Blue21, which looks to water as means to solve climate change, urbanisation, population growth and land scarcity, comments: VriThink's Night Out brings together a very special group of people who will share martime developments to help the industry move forward."
