| Drake Maye -- You know the drill. We live and die by Maye here. He's QB14 in my Week 16 rankings. He has finished as a top-20 Fantasy QB in six-straight games. |
| Bryce Young is my top option beyond Maye if looking at quarterbacks rostered in less than 50% of CBS leagues. He's played well lately and is in a potential shootout! If looking for deeper options, I'd want Aidan O'Connell, Mason Rudolph, and Mac Jones in that order. |
| Running Back |
| You could roll the dice on Michael Carter or DeeJay Dallas if you want to take a chance on a fill-in Arizona RB. Carter played about one-thirds of the snaps once James Conner left in the second half of Week 16. He can play on passing downs and has flashed some explosive potential at times as a pro after a fun career at UNC. He's who I'd first prioritize if claiming a Cardinals RB. |
| I actually think that Audric Estime is the best waiver wire RB to fill a flex spot in Week 17. The rookie was still just the RB2 in a three-man backfield (UDFA Blake Watson replaced Jaleel McLaughlin) led by Javonte Williams, in terms of playing time (21% snap rate for Estime to 50% for Williams), but Estime had twice as many rush attempts (eight) as his veteran teammate. |
| The Bengals have given up 100+ scrimmage yards to every opposing backfield following a Week 12 bye and have not exactly faced explosive offenses (PIT, DAL, TEN, CLE) during that time. This defense has been gashed repeatedly by opposing running backs. And Estime sure looks like an exhausting player to tackle. It feels totally realistic that he could wear this defense down and earn double-digit touches in a breakout performance. |

| There is almost nothing on the WR waiver wire in Week 16. Below, you'll see who I have ranked the highest for Week 16 among wide receivers under the 50% rostered rate: |

| Chigoziem Okonkwo -- Is this the league-winning Fantasy TE we've been looking for? We're pulling straws if not starting one of the top few tight ends, and even then, Trey McBride lost a lot of leagues last week. The usage has improved for Okonkwo lately, and the Week 17 matchup is perfect to set up for another big game. |
