While students should have been celebrating their entry into the "real world," they were running for cover. We recap the chilling events, which left four hurt. For the second time this week, an owner of the Tiki Tubing concession along the Amite River has been arrested on a sex crimes allegation. Tiki has been sued recently, too. The troubles come just before the opening of tubing season on the Memorial Day weekend. In 1999, the Ascension Parish School Board bought a tract of land and set it aside for when the region saw such tremendous growth that it would have to build another high school. That day's here.
