Feds reportedly probe Wells Fargo hiring practices The office of the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York has launched a criminal investigation into the hiring practices of Wells Fargo, sources say, following a New York Times report last month that alleged the bank conducted phony job interviews with minority candidates for positions that were already offered to other people.
