That’s the road one YouTuber, StackSmashing, decided to take. He connected his old Game Boy to his computer, which ran a Bitcoin node. Upon connection, the gaming console ran the hashing program. While this is an inventive workaround, it's actually 125 trillion times slower than a dedicated mining machine, The Verge reports.
