WE ASKED THE TOP 5 AI MODELS TO PREDICT $BTC, $ETH, AND $SOL’S 2025 PEAK 🦾

I love our lead Milk Road PRO researcher, Martin, but man does he lack a filter.

I just told him I hadn’t tried DeepSeek’s R-1 model yet, and he came back with this:

“You should. It’s going to take your job in a few years.”

Well, Martin, two can play at that game.

Today, we’ll be asking five major AI models to give us 2025 price predictions for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana.

Then, we’ll compare their answers to Martin’s predictions – and who knows – maybe by the time 2025 is out, we’ll be ‘consolidating’ our research team ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 

The AI models we’ll be using are OpenAI’s ChatGPT o-1, DeepSeek’s R-1, Anthropic’s Claude 3.5 Sonnet, X’s Grok 2, Meta’s Llama 3.1 – and the question we will be asking them all is this:

Alright, let’s light this candle!

1/ ChatGPT o-1

Seems we’re saving the worst till first? ChatGPT is bullish on $ETH, neutral on $BTC, and so bearish on $SOL that it gave a 2025 peak price prediction ~$30 below its current price.

2/ DeepSeek R-1

…ok, better for all assets this time around. Still not great for Solana. 

Now, hypothetically, if someone had 100% of their portfolio allocated to $SOL – should they be worried? (Asking for a friend).

3/ Claude 3.5 Sonnet

Everything is fine. It’s fine. I’m fine. Claude’s training data was cut off in April 2024 – that’s why it’s low balling…right?

4/ Grok 2

That’s more like it! Man, this Grok guy is onto something…unless you’re an $ETH holder.

5/ Meta’s Llama 3.1

Alright, where’s my Ledger? I need to rebalance my portfolio.

Here are all of the AIs’ peak price predictions for 2025, averaged out:

Now, here’s what happened when I prompted Martin:

Yeesh. This puts me in a tough spot. Martin and the average AI predictions are pretty closely aligned on $BTC and $ETH…but not $SOL.

Which means if the AI average is correct, I get my “Ha! Suck it, Martin – AI is coming for YOUR job!” moment…but my $SOL position underperforms.

And if Martin’s right, I’ll have extra milk money – but be burdened with his gloating for all of 2026…

Man, I really painted myself into a corner on this one.

VENICE.AI (THE ‘DECENTRALIZED CHATGPT’) JUST MOVED ONCHAIN ⛓️

Have you ever used an AI platform and been hit with a sudden wave of panic – thinking:

“What if this AI’s data centers fail? What if the country this AI company is located in suddenly orders its data centers to be shut down? What if the AI company ends support for this model?”

No? Then you’re a pretty well rounded person.

But crypto purists aren’t exactly known for being well rounded.

They want the AI model powering the text responses for their ‘Fartbot69’ agent to be hosted on a system that is World War 3 resistant!

And that’s a solution that Venice.ai is happy to provide. 

Venice takes popular open source AI models (like DeepSeek and Llama), and hosts them on a decentralized network of GPUs.

(If one cluster goes down – not a problem. Venice has a whole bunch of independent GPU providers spread across the world).

And the big news from Venice today is that they’re moving onchain, to Base!

What that means in a nutshell: users and developers will now be able to pay for access to the platform using Venice’s $VVV token.

Digging a little deeper: it will also allow developers to stake the $VVV token, and use the rewards to pay for some, or all of the cost of the platform (depending on how much they stake).

Which, to everyday users is probably a bit ‘meh’ – but for builders, this means the cost to have their AI Agents chat/interact online is now bundled into a one time payment.

(Which can even be recouped later on as long as $VVV maintains its price over time).

The more of these incremental cost-cutting improvements are made → the closer we get to having near-free access to a range of super intelligent AI agents.

Not bad!

Portfolio performance 📉

The Milk Road PRO Portfolio saw a moderate decrease over the past 7 days. Our portfolio value is at $126.2K, down 5.8% since last week.

China’s new AI model, DeepSeek, sent shockwaves through the market last week. It delivers results similar to OpenAI’s o1 model but at just 5% of the cost – and it’s open source!

For users, this is great news. A powerful, free-to-use model means cheaper, better products across industries. 

But Wall Street wasn’t thrilled. Will big tech still have the edge thanks to their deep pockets and massive resources for building cutting-edge language models? Will big tech still need massive budgets, like the $500B Stargate project for AI infrastructure? 

Maybe. But maybe not. However, while DeepSeek is really impressive, it doesn’t match OpenAI’s latest o3 model (the latest model from OpenAI). 

Markets overreacted at first – crypto dipped and TradFi fell 2% in premarket trading on Monday. But since then? Green candles all around. 

Bottom line: competition is heating up, and that’s a win for innovation. (and good for us - users 💪)
