Oregon Democrats are leading the charge to make the Oregon way of voting the American way of voting, Voornaam!

Senator Ron Wyden and Congressman Earl Blumenauer have introduced the Vote At Home Act, which would massively expand vote-at-home ballot access, provide voters with pre-paid ballot envelopes and enact automatic voter registration.

Oregonians have been voting by mail for more than two decades, and we know it's one of the safest and most accessible ways to hold elections. And in 2020, record numbers of Americans cast their ballots from home as many states took steps to make sure people didn't have to choose between their health and their right to vote.

We can make sure every American voter has the option to vote at home, just like Oregonians do — that's why we need to pass the Vote at Home Act!

What's more, it would give the U.S. Postal Service the funding it needs to cover the costs of mailing ballots to and from voters in federal elections.
