LAS VEGAS: In celebration of Lunar New Year, Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens has unveiled its new display, “Year of the Rabbit,” which will be up through March 4. Each bed welcomes new beginnings and is layered with creations that convey messages of harmony, good luck, enlightenment, and prosperity. Created by designer Ed Libby, in collaboration with Bellagio’s horticulture team, the display honors the Black Water Rabbit, which signifies deep wisdom and a connection to earth. Fontainebleau Development—a real estate development group specializing in large-scale lifestyle developments within the hospitality, retail, residential, and commercial sectors—has appointed Brett Mufson as president and CEO of Fontainebleau Las Vegas. The new hotel is currently under construction and will debut in Q4 of 2023.
MIAMI: Tropic Bound, South Florida’s first international biennial artists’ book fair, will make its much anticipated debut at the Miami Design District on the Paradise Plaza Rooftop Garden from Feb. 16-19. The fair will showcase the unique artistic genre known as “artists’ books," bridging the worlds of art, craft, and literature and representing a broad variety of cultural traditions. Attendees can expect more than 60 international exhibitors from across the U.S., Mexico, South American, Caribbean, Europe, and Egypt. The fair is free and open to the public.
PALO ALTO, CALIF.: Graduate Hotels announced this week the opening of Graduate Palo Alto. The property is located in the heart of downtown Palo Alto and is just blocks from Stanford University. The building was once Hotel President, and it has been renovated and restored to honor the building’s past, as well as the history of the neighboring community. The 6-story Graduate Palo Alto features 100 keys and two signature F&B concepts: Lou & Herbert’s (a lobby-level, day-to-night café) and rooftop bar President’s Terrace.

The company’s complete rebranding is meant to better reflect its rapid growth and full-service capabilities. The overhaul includes the introduction of the company’s new name, logo, and website. Stratus Firm specializes in creating, developing, and elevating high-quality experiences and forging a new path in creating long-lasting partnerships.
