View in browser APRIL 15, 2019 Special counsel Robert Mueller's redacted report on the Russia investigation and President Donald Trump is expected to be made public Thursday morning. In just three days, we will get to see the written result of 22-months of work by Mueller and his team. According to The New York Times, White House aides are concerned about potential revelations the report may provide, and are focused on the outstanding questions about obstruction.
Ari Melber took a close look at the curious timing of the report’s release, which just happens to be on Holy Week and the day before the start of Passover. Could it mean that Barr is trying to bury potentially damaging information?
On MSNBC tonight, presidential hopeful Mayor Pete Buttigieg sat down for an in-studio interview with Rachel Maddow. In a wide-ranging interview, Buttigieg talked about the attention he is receiving as a national candidate and the strategy he and other Democratic candidates should employ in appealing to American voters in 2020. In a remarkable conversation, Buttigieg and Maddow talked about the decision-making process that went into coming out as gay at the age of 33 as an elected official in Indiana.

1989 controversy raises questions about how Barr will redact Mueller report Law professor Ryan Goodman tells Lawrence that in 1989, Barr refused to release a DOJ legal opinion, choosing to release a summary report instead. It was later revealed that Barr, according to Goodman, mischaracterized parts of the opinion in his summary.
