Hi Achternaam, The past few weeks have been filled with preparations for winter in our small, temporary home in our new location. (If you hadn't heard yet we moved!) We've been busy with cutting and splitting firewood and adding a new (to us) wood stove for heat. The stove was lit for the first time recently. It brought back memories of a day, long ago, when my sons were small. We were putting a wood stove into that house too. As we lit it for the first time my 3 sons gathered around for the memorable event. As the flames caught and the excitement grew, one of the boys (6-year-old Collin) exclaimed, "Are we rich now? I feel rich!" Yes son...as a matter of fact, we ARE rich. :) In the ways that count. Remember, as we approach the beginning of slower, cooler days, take some time to count your blessings, many of those being in the pantry!
