We're (Still) Watching TV

An advertising industry eagerly awaits to see which behaviors that consumers established during the pandemic will stick and what others will fall by the wayside. Use of connected TV, for example, remains high, even above pre-pandemic levels.

As my colleague, Kelsey Sutton reported, connected TV usage remained steady at 3.5 billion hours by the end of May, which represents an 81% year-over-year increase. That's a lot of episodes.

In other news, New York OOH terminals displayed names of those killed by police and gun violence, a new text generator sets a new bar for AI capabilities and here's some good news for ad-tech.
