No images? Click here Dear friend, At the ERLC, we stand for life. Our work to save preborn babies and care for the vulnerable is vital to our mission. Here are a few highlights of our pro-life work in 2020: We stand for life in our communitiesOne of the main highlights of our pro-life efforts is our work to place ultrasound machines in pro-life pregnancy resource clinics. These lifesaving machines give pro-life workers a powerful tool for life and allow pregnant women to see the preborn baby growing inside them. We recently announced our plans to place 10 new machines in the next six months. We stand for life in the halls of CongressOur DC team works tirelessly to advocate for pro-life legislation, including the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Act, which would protect babies who are born alive as a result of a failed abortion. And as the spending process plays out in DC, we’re continuously engaging policymakers to ensure no taxpayer dollars are used for abortions. We stand for life in the courtsWhile we long for the day that Roe v. Wade is overturned, our team is focused on protecting life through our legal system whenever possible. We filed an amicus brief with the Supreme Court earlier this year in June Medical Services v. Russo, urging justices to protect women from unsafe and dangerous abortion clinics. Our team also engaged in numerous other cases across the country involving funding for abortion clinics. Will you stand for life with us?At the ERLC, we stand for life because we serve a God who rejoices in life and who brings about newness of life through the power of the gospel. As you consider your year-end giving, will you stand for life with us? Thanks to the generosity of our churches through the Cooperative Program, we are able to be a powerful voice for life. But individual donations like yours enhance our work to place ultrasound machines in pro-life pregnancy centers, advocate for religious liberty, and advance human dignity here at home and across the globe. Thank you for your prayers and support! Sincerely, STAND FOR LIFE WITH US The Ethics and Religious Liberty Commissionof the Southern Baptist Convention 901 Commerce Street, Suite 550 Nashville, Tennessee 37203 Share Tweet Forward Preferences | Unsubscribe |
