One year ago today, we stood in this spot and introduced our movies trivia grid game, Cinematrix. The response from our readers was immediate, and the enthusiasm has only continued to grow, warming our hearts and stoking our ambitions. That’s why it was perhaps inevitable that we’d find ourselves back in this spot a year later with a new announcement that is just as exciting: |
Now we have a TV version. Please give a warm welcome to Telematrix. |

The gameplay is identical to Cinematrix: There are clues along the top and side of the grid, challenging you to provide a TV show for each square that satisfies both prompts. You have nine guesses to do so. Since we celebrate all forms of TV, both scripted and unscripted series will be represented in the game; if you’ve been looking for a reason to broaden your TV horizons, consider Telematrix research as good a motivation as any. |
After today, new grids will publish twice weekly, on Monday and Thursday. |
