We bring you an interview with Eighteen48 Partners this week, a new wealth manager, founded by three partners, Julien Sevaux, Tarek AbuZayyard and Edward Clive, who describe their new business as the next generation private office. Sevaux says: ““The second-generation investment office is where you have greater investment capability in terms of direct investments. In our case it is on the public and private side.” The new firm is targeting the ultra-wealthy with a minimum investment of GBP10 million, with a high number of professional investors and business people. We also have an interview with Prasad Ramani, founder and CEO of Syntoniq the launch of my3B, a behavioural finance assessment designed by Syntoniq to evaluate an individual’s approach to financial decision making. Employee benefit firms, insurance companies and wealth managers and financial advisers are the target audience for using the test to reveal how much financial knowledge clients have and also their approach to risk and decision-making. Finally, our In My Opinion this week comes from Scott McKenna from ETF Logic who takes a peek at how investors can gain exposure to holiday shopping through ETFs.
