Save the Dates: April 3 & 4
Do you receive grants that are restricted in some way? Most nonprofits do! Some are restricted for a certain program or event. Others are restricted for time. Some are reimbursement based and are very restrictive in terms of what they can be spent on. Many of these grantors require reporting as to how their dollars were spent. Tracking which expenses are paid for out of a grant is one of the most important, and challenging, tasks an organization must contend with. The good news is this is totally doable in QuickBooks. By simply setting up a few things, you can easily get a P & L for each of your grants (compared to a budget if you’d like) and see reports for all of your grants all in one screen in real time. Join CPA and national nonprofit trainer Gregg S. Bossen for this inaugural, Chronicle of Philanthropy-hosted Restricted Grants webinar. Gregg will show you how you can easily track restricted grants in QuickBooks.
