The Midlands-based construction company is expanding its Mount Pleasant offices and fully renovating a building in downtown Myrtle Beach. Mashburn has also made several hires to handle growth in its Coastal Division, CEO Paul Mashburn said.

The app known for crowd-sourced reviews is launching a tool to let businesses identify themselves as black-owned, the company said. Yelp’s CEO said the platform has seen a sharp rise in the number of searches for black-owned businesses.
