King Street project reaches construction milestone

The 84,000-square-foot office building at 677 King St. is a part of a $30 million project spread over two blocks at the corner of Coming and King streets. The overall project includes parking, retail, office and renovations of existing buildings into offices and residential. The project is set to be completed next summer.

Folly Pier closing for renovations on Oct. 19

The deteriorating pier on Folly Beach will undergo renovations that are anticipated to take 28 months to complete. The final day for public access is Oct. 18. Reopening is expected for spring 2023.
