DREW PYNES NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK The Snappers sweep week three as Andrew Furey (Florida Southern) and Drew Pynes (St. Petersburg) are your FCSL Pitcher and Player of the Week for week two! Pynes launched three homers in one night. Furey punched out nine in a 10-1 victory over Winter Park. HISTORY IN SANFORD The Sanford River Rats made history this week, becoming the first FCSL team to reach 15 consecutive wins. They have only lost one game this season, falling to Leesburg in extras in their opening series. The River Rats are lead by head coach and former major leaguer, Jesse Litsch.
