EDITORâS NOTE Happy Sunday. Thanks to my wonderful, lovely, delightful niece, Iâve spent the majority of the week with a stomach bug â which means that in addition to sleeping like a Gen Zer, Iâve spent way too much time reading up on the frenzy surrounding King Charlesâ âhot equerryâ and the people obsessed with, of all things, airport carpets. I also discovered a study that claims wearing high heels may be good for you â though, Iâm going to pretend I didnât see that. And I found myself getting oddly emotional over this marshmallow popcorn recipe, which Iâm blaming on the arrival of Pisces season. Melissa Goldberg / Senior Editor / Washington, DC |

đ Wondering whoâs behind Ayo Edebiriâs, Greta Leeâs, and Olivia Rodrigoâs excellent red carpet looks? Now we know. đ Some companies are apparently pumping special scents through the vents to make coming into work more tolerable. Not sure thatâs going to get the job done... đ Turns out, Pizza Hutâs hold music really has, well, a hold on people. đ€ An unexpected member of the Joan Jett appreciation society? Nikki Haley. đ In case you needed more proof that everything old is new again: Doily lace is having a comeback. And big hair is reaching new heights. |

Has anyone gone from zero (okay, maybe not zero) to everywhere as fast as Barry Keoghan? Ever since those âSaltburnâ scenes, the Irish actor has become the ultimate internet boyfriend (still looking at you, Bumble thirst traps) and someoneâs actual boyfriendâŠmaybe. Thatâs as heâs gotten spicy on âHot Ones,â dominated red carpets, and said a whole bunch of weirdly charming things (see: âNow Iâm just Man. Freak-Man. Man-Freak.â) Not to mention, he appeared on not one but two magazine covers this past week: First, there was a âSaltburnâ-inspired photoshoot for W magazine, followed by a cheeky appearance in Vanity Fairâs 30th annual Hollywood Issue, where for good measure, he bared it all once again. |

For those who werenât already aware: Comedian Jenny Slate is a seasoned professional. So much so that itâs the name of her second stand-up comedy special, now available on Prime Video. In it, the 41-year-old â who famously co-created âMarcel the Shell with Shoes Onâ â mines humor from her elder millennial experience. That includes one of the hardest parts of therapy (at the end of a session, âyouâre not allowed to be like âOkay, bye bye, I love youââ) and giving birth to her daughter (âI was blessed with an instant set of double-D milky psycho-naturalsâ). All of which she talks about with the raw, frenetic, kid sister zaniness youâd expect. |

If youâre the type of person who waits until, oh, October 30 to figure out your couples costume, you can thank Zendaya and TimothĂ©e Chalamet. On Wednesday, the âDune: Part Twoâ stars showed up for a press conference in South Korea, looking like a futuristic Barbie and Ken. Given that Zendaya saved Chalametâs first apartment from its âvery teenage boyâ vibe, we assumed she mustâve been the mastermind behind their twinning moment. But wrong we were. It was actually her stylist, Law Roach, who, surprise, surprise, also styled her in that structured robot suit. |
