Each Monday you will be receiving updates on the golf course, events that may effect tee times, as well as dining hours for the upstairs lounge. While we don't have any events on the course this week, and we won't start dining in the upper lounge until next week, there are plenty of changes happening on the course.
-We will start seeding the Vale Greens and the Practice Facility next week. In order to prep for this, we will be removing the tarps and charging the irrigation this week. Wadsworth Golf Construction, along with our architect Rick Robbins, will be here on Monday to finish the project.
-Clean-up continues on the Creek nine. You may have noticed the creek lines are getting cleaned up. Trees, brush and weeds are being taken out to give you better visuals on the course.
-The bridge on Creek #7 fairway is open again. We encourage you to use it while playing #7.
-Lots of tile work is being done. Many areas of the course have plugged tiles which has resulted in soggy areas on the course. We are working on getting these tiles opened up which has already resulted in some much needed drying.
-You will notice a lot more roping on the course. We will be moving these ropes to change traffic patterns on the course.
-If we can get as many of you to pair up in carts, rather than everyone taking individual carts, it would be greatly appreciated. Lower traffic on the course will certainly help conditions improve.
Please call the Golf Shop to set up tee times at 515-285-7355. The practice range will be set up as well. We will monitor how the range dries and determine which tee we will be using.
