Dear Members,
I am happy to let everyone know that the temporary greens on the Vale are no more. The condition of these three greens has seen great improvement over the last 10 days with the weather and some aggressive maintenance practices. With the Vale being in good condition we will have our main rotation going forward being Vale/Ridge. There may be some days we switch the rotation due to normal maintenance practices. Outside corporate events will continue to go Creek/Ridge leaving the Vale open for member play during these events. You will start to see many of the natural areas being mowed down. This will allow you better views on the course, allow you to find your ball and possibly even play it out of these areas. We are confident this will improve your course experience, and save you some golf balls! We are nearing the time that aeration will start on the golf course. There will be days that nine holes will be closed in order for this practice to be done. I would certainly encourage you to call the golf shop for tee times and to find out if there are any special projects happening. Please find below the course rotation going forward for the next week. COURSE ROTATION:
Friday, August 24th – Vale-Ridge (Couples Twilight at 6:00) Saturday, August 25th – Vale-Ridge Sunday, August 26th – Vale-Ridge Monday, August 27th – Corporate Outing on Creek-Ridge (Vale open for members) Tuesday, August 28th – Vale-Ridge (Ladies PM Scramble) Wednesday, August 29th – Vale-Ridge Thursday, August 30th – Vale-Ridge Again, those are the “planned” 18 hole course rotations for the week ahead. Please understand if problems arise on the course unexpectedly, we will have to adjust the course rotation for proper maintenance. -Adam Luehmann, PGA
