Esther, Nadira and Fuseni are part of a growing population living in poverty in urban slums. Despite precarious living conditions, they decided to leave their villages hoping to find a better future in the city. With rapid urbanisation, especially in developing countries, the slum challenge remains critical. Most people living in slums face health issues due to poor sanitation, unsafe drinking water and the lack of money to buy good quality food. Unemployment represents a significant problem, especially for youth in countries with ballooning population. In our latest campaign, we explore the daily challenges faced by people living in poverty in the fast-growing cities of the developing world.
