Critics say new housing development will doom Sydney's koalas |

The NSW Land and Environment Court has dismissed a bid to overturn the development of a 1,700-home housing estate that environmental groups say will decimate Sydney's growing koala population. Recent data from the Australian Koala Foundation revealed the koala population of NSW had plummeted in the past three years by 41 per cent to fewer than 10,000 animals. |
