Its upscale wine list and craft cocktails provide an ideal complement to any meal. Plus, the kitchen is open late with a late-night happy hour menu. La Ville Lumiere is at 10427 Clifton Boulevard in Cleveland. - Alex Darus DETAILS YY Time, Asiatown As the weather gets colder (or does it), YY Time in Cleveland’s Asiatown has rice noodle soups that are both comforting and bring interest to the palate. Consider rice noodle soup with braised beef brisket or rice noodle soup with coconut red curry chicken. Both come with plenty of noodles and meat. Those not used to real Asian food will find both unfamiliar flavors and textures in dishes like duck head, duck tongue, pig feet and pig intestine. The large restaurant has a comfortable Asian vibe. DETAILS – Paris Wolfe Biggby Coffee Everyone thinks of Starbucks when it comes to drive-through coffee, but Biggby is a solid choice. Great coffee to be sure, friendly service and, for such a tiny place, a menu chock full of items including the hearty “Bragel” - a bagel of your choice (asiago cheese is a good one) along with turkey and havarti is our favorite. It surely doesn’t taste like a typical IPA, but it allows more than enough of what makes that style great. Classic CLE Eats & Drinks columnist Peter Chakerian has the scoop.
