Hi John,
Life can be seen as a series of chapters, most of which are set off by formative events that shape our beliefs, attitudes, behaviors, and decisions.
Some of these events are perfunctory: graduate high school, move to a new city, land a new job, and so on. And some are crucial: the death of a loved one, loss of faith, bankruptcy, being shamed or “cancelled,” forced to emigrate, suffering abuse, divorce—you get the idea.
We’re interested in learning more about crucial events, how you’ve responded to them, and how they’ve shaped you. We’ve linked a survey here. If you've experienced a crucial event in your life, please share your experience with us. We believe there are insights to be gained that can help others through these defining events.
