Editor's Note

Welcome to 2025

Welcome to 2025 and the second Continuous Improvement newsletter of the new year. I have one request and an announcement as we get underway.

  1. I'm always looking for good stories to tell about continuous improvement in manufacturing. If you have an example of a good CI project completed on your factory floor, and you'd be willing to share it, please let me know. If there is a particular company or person you'd like to hear from about their continuous improvement efforts, please let me know. In short, let me know what you'd like us to cover in continuous improvement in 2025.
  2. The 2025 IndustryWeek Best Plants Awards competition will launch in a couple of weeks, just as soon as we wrap up a few items still outstanding from 2024. We will announce when the 2025 competition is open, but I'm also inviting you to send me an email if you'd like me to alert you more directly.

I have heard from a few of you, and I look forward to hearing from more. I can be reached at jjusko@industryweek.com. — Jill Jusko
