This is her laughing at me the other day at the studio. She's KIND OF a big deal (Olympic medalist, has 5 Grand Slam titles, and was the #1 player in the world when she was 18). I can't wait to share her story with you. Did you hear about her getting suspended earlier this year for failing a drug test? She had been taking a drug for her health for 10 years and it had just been added to the banned list without her knowing. While her suspension just got reduced and she can play again next season, that still means that Maria hasn't been able to do what she loves most - compete at the highest level of her sport - for over 8 months. What would YOU do if your career/passion/dream was taken away and there wasn't anything you could do about it? Maria amazed me with her grace and attitude during this. She did a business program at Harvard. She tried new workouts. She built her candy company. She invested in relationships. She put personal growth at the top of her list no matter what. I love Maria's example of making the most of your circumstances no matter what obstacles come up. It's what has gotten me through the toughest times of my life. It's my biggest teacher. And today I'm inviting you to let it be yours. How can you make the most of the time you have today, no matter what?
