In late February, MIT announced the development of a new Institute task force focused on the future of work. The interdisciplinary group, made up of more than 20 faculty and students, will study the challenges and opportunities in an age of innovation, and what impact that will have on the workforce. If you too are interested in this important topic, you can join one of the members of the task force, Professor Tom Kochan, for his current run of the MITx course Shaping the Future of Work. In the course, you’ll learn how you can play a part in forming an economy that works for everyone. With learners from all around the world, you’ll explore how we got to where we are today, and work together to create vision for the future. You can read more about Professor Tom Kochan’s research from past course runs in his recent post on The Conversation. > Learn more about Shaping the Future of Work |
