Businesses shun job hunters living in Colorado When policymakers in Colorado passed a law in 2019 that called for companies to include an hourly or salary compensation range in all job postings, they had no idea how much the world would change by the time the law took effect at the beginning of this year. With remote work now opening up job opportunities far and wide, some companies are excluding candidates based in Colorado. Why? Because by disqualifying Colorado residents (or requiring them to relocate as a condition of employment), companies can skirt the law that requires them to reveal compensation information in job listings.
