Good afternoon,

As we head towards another weekend our thoughts turn towards relaxing and enjoying time with friends and family.

Here is our latest round-up of venues and events you can visit now, while also looking ahead to what's coming.

Last weekend, Chorley's popular canal-side pub, The Top Lock reopened its doors after being closed since last year.

Two landmark pubs are set to be revamped in the coming weeks and months, which is great news for residents in Preston and Lostock Hall.

We visited Mowgli Street Food in Cheshire Oaks for a taste of things to come ahead of the Preston branch opening next month.

Finally, with festival season now in full swing, you might be feeling a little festival itch with all the wall-to-wall coverage. The good news is there are still plenty of festivals to come with tickets still available - and we've rounded them up in this handy guide.

Have a great day.

Colin
