In Loving Memory of Stevon Lucero
CHAC Co-Founder, Master Artist and Mentor
Stevon Lucero painted for over forty years. Since childhood, he experienced lucid dreams and visions and ventured more than once into separate realities. Through these revelations and studies of metaphysical, philosophical, and historical media, he was being guided to create two unique art forms: Metarealism and Neo-Precolumbian or Aztec art. Stevon was on a spiritual journey. More than a visual artist he is in truth, a philosopher artist. Each painting reflects a metaphor of his own internal dialogue between himself and God. Each piece tells a story in which the ultimate intent and value lies in the future when people will have a greater understanding and appreciation for true spiritual art.Stevon Lucero passed away Sunday, Nov. 28th at the age of 72. He was born in Laramie, WY on Dia de Los Muertos November 2, 1949.  Stevon's father was a Mexican immigrant. His mother always encouraged Stevon to follow his art. Stevon's wife Arlette Lucero is also a master artist, they have two sons and a daughter.

Stevon will be greatly missed and changed the lives of so many people. Our prayers and love are with his family at this time.
