Jaw Dropping History

What are investors and collectors REALLY putting their money on?

This past weekend I followed a couple auctions that had some particularly remarkable museum grade artifacts. One item that blew my mind was a set of two Original Ford’s Theater tickets, for the April 14, 1965 Friday evening performance. Just sitting across from them would be Abraham Lincoln.

And the two ticket holders would witness one of the most tragic events in history.

.

Imagine being at Ford's Theater on April 14, 1865? Or attending a Harry Houdini Live Performance? Or being at Yankee Stadium in 1927 and watching Babe Ruth at bat? Or being at a Frank Sinatra concert?

By the way, the set of tickets sold this weekend for $235,000.
