Runaway Sentences: Truck driver's 110-year sentence sparks new focus on mandatory minimums

An inexperienced truck driver was just 23 when a crash happened in 2019 outside Denver. He said his brakes failed as he rapidly descended from the mountains on I-70, plowing into traffic and igniting a deadly inferno.
